About

Life is a classroom Resources are for the teacher or clinician that puts life skills at front and center of their student’s learning.  Our resources focus on functional academics, social skills, and executive functioning. We know these are all important for success in life and we hope that our content can help you learn how to teach your students the skills needed to thrive.

My name is Liz.  I was the writer and creator behind the blog and TPT store The Autism Vault.  I started my store and blog after my 6th year of teaching.  Since then, I have become a BCBA.  I’m still in the classroom, but have had the joy of working part time in an in-home setting.  I have learned so much about how reinforcement and motivation come in to play in everyday activities.  It has helped me hone in to how the science of ABA can be used in all types of setting.  I currently work in a high school setting teaching activities of daily living class.  I get to use my ABA background to teach the (sometimes) mundane.

If you’re like me, you think a lot about the skills beyond academics and how they will translate to the other areas of your students’ lives.  I hope you find the information and resource I provide help you learn to do that.

To start, I would like to share with you The Resource Vault, a collection of freebies to help you along the way. Sign up to my newsletter and you’ll be on your way.
